Whats the most effective way to removed chlorine that has hardened on plastic surfaces?
without damaging the plastic surface. Not just plastic but, other surfaces as well, and in terms of plastic I mean the kind found on shower heads or some water filters.

Are you sure it’s chlorine, water should dissolve it, if you mean calcium, or lime deposits you need Lime Away.
Did you try a magic eraser? That thing removes everything. Or CLR- its supposed to work without damaging most surfaces- I cant remember about plastic but just read the back before you buy it. Its found in pretty much any grocery store or department store.
If you mean the hard white scale you need something acid. If you can take the part off it will come clean soaking in warm vinegar water otherwise try putting a vinagar soaked rag on it or buy lime away.
